Everyday — Subscription Terms

These terms apply specifically to the Everyday Is a Special Occasion monthly fragrance subscription offered by COOKED. They supplement the general website terms, the Privacy Policy and any applicable shipping and returns policy.

1. The subscription

Everyday Is a Special Occasion is a fragrance development club priced at US$30 per month, unless a different price is displayed at checkout. Each monthly collection contains 30 different experimental fragrance compositions, supplied in 0.5–2 ml sample vials. The compositions are developed by COOKED and may never become commercially released products. The subscription does not guarantee any particular formula, future release or bespoke composition. Occasional complimentary gifts may be included at COOKED's discretion and are not guaranteed in every collection.

2. Availability and membership limits

The subscription is available only in the United States, United Kingdom, mainland China and Japan, subject to local regulatory readiness and delivery availability. During the first year, membership is limited to 2,000 active subscriptions per country. Membership is personal and may not be transferred. COOKED may decline or restrict enrolment where necessary to enforce legitimate capacity, eligibility or fraud-prevention controls. New memberships may be unavailable for the last two days of each month.

3. First shipment and monthly dispatch

Your first collection will be prepared for dispatch after your initial subscription purchase is accepted and payment is confirmed. It does not need to wait until the next scheduled monthly dispatch date. Every collection after your first is scheduled for dispatch on the 10th of each month. Dispatch dates may be affected by weekends, public holidays, production requirements, regulatory checks or carrier disruption. If a material delay occurs, COOKED will communicate the revised arrangements.

4. Billing and renewal

By subscribing, you authorise the payment method you provide to be charged US$30 when you subscribe (for your first collection), and then US$30 on the 1st day of every month, beginning on the 1st day of the month after you subscribe. Your first renewal date is shown at checkout and in your confirmation email. Because renewals fall on the 1st of the month, your first renewal may fall fewer than 30 days after your first payment. Each renewal payment is for the collection dispatched on the 10th of that month. Any taxes or shipping charges will be shown at checkout.

The subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled. If payment fails, COOKED may retry the payment, contact you to update your payment details or pause fulfilment until payment is received. COOKED will provide any legally required notice before changing subscription prices or material billing terms.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel future renewals by emailing hello@nrutseab.com. To avoid a renewal charge on the 1st of a month, your cancellation request must reach us before that date. Cancellation prevents future renewals once effective; it does not cancel an order already processed for fulfilment. Cancellation does not remove any statutory cancellation or refund rights that apply in your country. Where a mandatory cooling-off period applies, COOKED will honour it in accordance with local law.

6. Refunds, defects and statutory rights

A fragrance preference is subjective. Disliking a scent, rating it Neutral or Hate, or preferring a different composition does not, by itself, constitute a product defect. Except where required by applicable law, COOKED does not offer discretionary refunds for fragrance preferences or changes of mind outside any applicable statutory cancellation period.

If a collection arrives damaged, materially incomplete, incorrectly supplied or defective, contact hello@nrutseab.com with your order number and details of the issue. COOKED will assess the claim and provide the applicable remedy, which may include replacement or refund. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts statutory consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Experimental fragrances and safe use

All compositions included in a shipment must complete the applicable product-specific safety, documentation, labelling and regulatory requirements for their intended use and destination market before dispatch. No collection will be shipped until all 30 included compositions have completed the applicable required notification, filing, listing or other regulatory steps. Regulatory notification or filing does not constitute government endorsement or, by itself, establish product safety.

Read each sample's instructions, ingredient information, allergen disclosures and warnings before use. Use samples only as directed and for their stated purpose. Stop use if irritation or another adverse reaction occurs and contact hello@nrutseab.com. Seek medical assistance where appropriate. COOKED does not guarantee that every composition is suitable for every individual or that allergic reactions are impossible. Nothing in these terms waives liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Feedback and personalisation

Members may rate each scent Love, Neutral or Hate, submit comments, request variations and share fragrance preferences. Feedback is optional. By submitting feedback, you grant COOKED a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, analyse, reproduce and adapt it for fragrance research, product development and collection personalisation. COOKED may use aggregated feedback to identify trends and refine future compositions. Personalisation depends on available formulas, prior responses and development priorities; it does not guarantee a unique formula, a completely individual collection or fulfilment of every request.

Personal information and identifiable feedback will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy. COOKED will not publicly attribute feedback to you without an appropriate legal basis or your permission.

9. Anti-resale and account abuse

The subscription is intended for personal fragrance discovery and development, not systematic commercial resale. Reselling entire monthly collections, creating accounts to circumvent country limits, transferring memberships or engaging in fraudulent subscription activity may result in suspension, termination or restrictions on future enrolment. Where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected abuse, COOKED may review relevant account, order, payment and delivery identifiers, subject to applicable privacy law. A shared email address, payment method or delivery address alone is not conclusive evidence of abuse. COOKED will consider relevant evidence before taking action.

10. No lifetime warranty

The subscription includes no lifetime warranty, perpetual product availability or guarantee that experimental formulas will be released commercially. This does not limit statutory rights concerning product safety, quality, conformity or other matters that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Availability and changes

COOKED may adjust development methods, packaging and curation as the programme evolves. If a regulatory, safety or operational issue prevents a collection from being supplied, COOKED may delay or suspend the affected shipment, notify members and provide any remedy required by law. Material changes to recurring prices, benefits or subscription terms will be communicated as required by applicable law. COOKED will not use this provision to remove paid-for benefits or override mandatory consumer rights.

12. Governing terms and contact

These terms should be read with the general website terms, the Privacy Policy and any applicable shipping and returns policy. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer protections.

When you place an order we collect your name, email, shipping address, phone number (optional), and order contents. Payment card details are entered directly into Stripe's secure form and never touch our servers. We store your order in our systems for order fulfilment, customer support, and legal/tax record-keeping.

3. Cookies & local storage

We use strictly-necessary cookies for checkout and security, and optional functional/analytics storage to remember your cart and currency and understand site usage. Your cart is only saved on your device if you allow functional storage. You can manage this anytime via "Cookie Settings" in the footer.

4. How we use your data

To process and ship your order, send order/shipping confirmations, respond to support enquiries, and comply with legal obligations (e.g. tax, fraud prevention, export-control screening).
